Issues regarding second and third shift dialysis patients/individuals
1. PATIENTS BEFORE YOU

b. Post TX complications with a patient from the previous shift...(Passing out, low B/P, Seizures, bleeding profusely).
2. MACHINE ISSUES
a. Testing Failed for that machine for some reason. Or the machine becomes defective, prompting it to be diagnosed and/or removed.
b. Constant leaking.
c. The machine is not sucking up the bicarb/acid creating conductivity issues with the machine.
Remember: Issues from before or during the 1st shift, affects all other shifts remaining. Ask your technician, the nurse, or clinical manager what is going on especially if you have to go to work. If these are constant issues, not once in a while happenings.
